Retro Gamer's epic 200th Issue

Proud to announce that I got to contribute to the article about the history of open worlds in the unbelievable 200th issue of Retro Gamer, one of the few surviving games magazines that still has a print edition. Silk gets a mention too...
Speaking of which, everyone knows that Silk is out on Switch and Steam now, right?
We're very proud to have successfully launched the game after just 14 months in development, and are working hard on the Retro USB cassettes for Kickstarter backers. More on this soon...
Share the Retro Love: Woolley Mountain Collectors USB
Huey Games, our lovely publishing partner for Silk, have the third of their Retro USB collectors edition into Kickstarter. Here's what they say:

Huey Games are excited to report that the campaign for The Mystery of Woolley Mountain, release 003 in the Collectors USB Cassette series, is now LIVE on Kickstarter. We've got some brilliant bonus features for this release, from a full-length graphic novel to a genuinely terrible ZX Spectrum bonus game in .wav and .tap formats. The Ultra Edition comes with all the upgrades you've come to expect, with a stunning mini comic book featurette adorning the extended fold out inlay.

Absolutely love the sound of "a genuinely terrible ZX Spectrum bonus game". Worth a look!
Halloween Update...

Since tonight is Halloween, I'd like to at least mention the Ghost Master spiritual successor, Haunters, Inc. We don't yet have the resources to pursue this ourselves (although supporting Silk in any way you can will help!) but we are setting our sights on finding a way to get this made some time in the next decade.
And as for Requia Noir, our Discworld Noir spiritual successor, I've been reaching out to a special partner who might help us make this one come about. More news on this soon, I hope...
If you're a fan of either of the originals, make sure you join the ihobo games Discord channel. Share your hopes, dreams, and love for any of the games International Hobo has worked on, and help influence the spiritual successors as we inch ever closer to making them.
Until next time,
Chris.
