Three Million Square Miles of Wilderness

Dear friends,
With the last map expansion almost complete, it gives me great pleasure to announce that Silk is now the largest handcrafted open world ever made, fifty times larger than Daggerfall. The final Alpha demo will arrive later this month with battle, save games, and more, but you'll have to wait a little longer before you can explore the full map...
The Virtuous Cyborg Ebook
It may have taken a year, but the ebook edition of The Virtuous Cyborg is finally in production! It should be available in just a few week's time. If you haven't heard about this book, you can check out the website at cyborg.ihobo.com. It's a must read for anyone interested in the moral impact of technology in general, and videogames in particular. I am trying to arrange some discount codes, and if I can you'll be the first to know.
Last Chance for Develop Early Bird Tickets
A reminder that I am presenting The Narrative Design Survival Guide at Develop: Brighton this year, and you still have a couple of days to get early bird tickets at nearly 20% off. I heartily recommend Develop as the best of the British games industry events by a long chalk, and I even prefer it to GDC, which has grown far too big for its boots. (Can't afford a ticket? You can volunteer to work the doors and get in without charge.)
Share the Retro Love: Droid Assault Collectors USB
You've missed your chance to back the Huey Games 001 Collectors USB Cassette, but you can still get one from their InDemand page! Check it out if you're a fan of Paradroid, retro games, or collectibles.
Silk Beta Testing
Finally, we are not far away from Silk Beta Testing, and we'd love your help! If you'd like to be involved, please email alpha@ihobo.com with a sentence saying why you're interested. If you're a University of Bolton student, we may be able to arrange a weekly Beta Tester meet up over the Summer for you too.
Until next time,
Chris.
